Trella Marie (Barnhisel) Anderson, daughter of Ruth Anna (Morgan) Barnhisel and Charles Wesley Barnhisel, was a deeply religious and dedicated mother of eight boys and two girls. Trella, along with her husband, the Rev. Arvel Franklin Anderson Sr., endured great hardship and tremendous personal loss to raise their family. Although she never attained higher than a 4th grade education, Mrs. Anderson was hard-driving, self taught and extremely intelligent. If she had not made her family and her husband's career a priority, she could have easily achieved material greatness. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She continues to be missed tremendously by those who loved her, to include her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and in-laws.
