Three people died after two motorcycles collided head on early Sunday in Okmulgee County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Killed were Shane Reed, 20, of Bixby; Kali Hull, 17, of Tulsa; and Travis Flud, 20, of Beggs. Troopers were not sure of the spelling of their names, a report said.
Flud was driving a 2001 Honda motorcycle west in the eastbound lanes of Adams Road at a high rate of speed, near 250 Road, about 7 a.m., troopers said. The area is near the Tulsa-Okmulgee county line, just east of U.S. 75.
The motorcycle he was driving collided head-on with a 1998 Honda motorcycle driven east on Adams Road by Reed, the OHP said.
Flud and Reed, along with Hull - who was a passenger on Flud's motorcycle - were pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
Reed was wearing a helmet; Flud and Hull were not, troopers said.
The cause of the crash was listed as driving left of center, according to the report.
Services for Reed, a T.D. Williamson employee, are pending with Leonard & Marker Funeral Home of Bixby.
Services for Flud are pending with Schaudt's Funeral Service in Glenpool.
