Ruth M. Dickerson, 84, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 18, 2011, with her loving family by her side. She was born November 21, 1926 in Melbourne, Florida, but called Piggott, Arkansas her home for the majority of her childhood, graduating from Piggott High School in 1945. She moved to Corpus Christi in 1946 where she resided the remainder of her life. Her passion in life was for her family and was always there for her loved ones. Ruth (Mimi) will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and friend to many. Some of you will remember her in retail sales at Tene dress shop and the Lady Bug dress shop for many years until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hazel Clarence Myers; her mother, Ruth Loreane Myers Faulk; and her grandson, Lloyd William Bazar.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Carol Lynn Hudler (L.B); her granddaughter, Mitzi Lynn Shephard (Jeremy); her great-grandson Landon Lloyd Tonne and her great-granddaughter Madelyn Marie Shephard.

A Graveside Service will be held at Seaside Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for family and friends.
