The many friends of Francis E. Turner will regret to hear of his death which occurred in this city at an early hour yesterday morning after a short illness. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by two daughters, Miss C. A. Turner, and Mrs. J. N. Stewart, and four sons, R. E. Turner, George L. [T.] Turner, Charles E. Turner, and Henry C. Turner. Funeral services were held at the parlors of Marcus Conant at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. T. Boone, officiating. The interment was in the family plot in West Evergreen cemetery.
