Mrs. Grace Anable, for the past four years matron of the Alpha Delta sorority house in Elm Street, died on Friday night at 10 at Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg, following an operation. The body was taken to the home of her father-in-law, J. J. Anable, Morgan street, Norwood and the funeral service was held at St. Andrew’s church, Norwood. Mrs. Anable had been at the local sorority house the past two years.

Mrs. Grace Nichols Anable was born in Norwood, the second daughter of Herman and Sarah McManus Nichols. She attended Norwood High School and August 14, 1907, was married to Charles Anable who died four years ago this month. To them were born three children, Mrs. Dorothy Hansen, Marjory, an undergraduate at Potsdam Normal, and Charles, a freshman at Potsdam High School. Besides the children, Mrs. Anable is survived by her father, Herman Nichols, a sister, Miss Madge Nichols, all of Norwood.

Mrs. Anable was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America and served as financial secretary for five years.

Members of the Catholic Daughters of America and the members of the Alpha Delta sorority attended the funeral in a body.
