Bangor and Corinna, Dean W. Smith, 60, died September 23, 1997 at a Bangor hospital from injuries sustained in an automoblie accident. He was born Dec. 17, 1936, in Hartland, the son of Donald and Ethelyn (Skinner) Smith. He attended Corinna schools and worked for several dairy farmers in Corinna, then briefly at Striar's Woolen Mill in Orono. He is suvived by a son, Michael Church of Bangor, a sister, Hilma Knowles of Corinna and a brother, Donald Smith of Gorham; sveral neices and nephews, cousins and special friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Smith, two sisters, Athalie Basford and Gwendolyn Gilliam.
