Theodore W. Holderman, of Bellefonte, died Saturday June 18, 2005, at Centre Crest nursing home, in Bellefonte.

He was born June 2, 1924, in Milesburg, to the late Theodore R. and Ethel Switzer Holderman.

On Oct. 3, 1947, he married Vivian B. Hunter, who preceded him in death on April 22, 1997.

He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron. He was in the battles of Normandy and Northern France, and was awarded a European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He retired from Warner Company.

He will be forever remembered as a great fisherman and a hunter. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by three sons, Dr. Michael H., of Havertown, Steven A. and his wife Mary, of Bellefonte, and James A. and his wife Sue, of Boalsburg; one grandchild, James Tyler, of Boalsburg.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his only sibling, Kenneth E. Holderman .

Arrangements have been made by the Wetzler Funeral Home in Bellefonte. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
