Death certificate has a birth year of 1875 but headstone has 1873. Since death certificates are so prone to errors, specifically with birth dates, I would normally use the 1873 date unless there is other proof to back it up. His sister Dora was born Nov 1872, the 1873 date would have him born 3 months after her. 1910 census also has 1875 as does his marriage record.
