Tracy Lynn (Carroll) Porter, 43, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thurday afternoon July 22, 2010 at Lake Regional Health Systems after a long illness. On September 4, 1966 she was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to Gary Walker and Mary Ann (Tracy) Carroll. On September 15, 1990 she was married in Eldon, Missouri to Bill Porter who survives of the home.
Others that survive; Daughter, Carol Ann Porter of the home. Mother, Mary Ann Carroll of Eldon, Missouri. Brother, Mike Carroll of Eldon, Missouri. Sister in law, Teresa Carroll of Eldon, Missouri. Nieces, Heather Jones & Husband Daniel; Hannah & Meagan Carroll all of Eldon, Missouri. Great Nephew, Noah Walker Jones of Eldon, Missouri. Special "Sister" Cousin, Teresa Watson of Republic, Missouri. And many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Walker Carroll on July 21, 2007.
Tracy was a member of the Aurora Springs Baptist Church in Eldon, where she gave her heart to God when she was nine years old and was baptized into the church. She was the children' choir leader and taught Bible school. She was employed with the Missouri Department of Transportation for many years until her illness forced her into retirement. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 25, 2010 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Missouri. Funeral Service will be Monday July 26, 2010 at 4:00PM also at Phillips Funeral Home with Chaplain Galen Dennis officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, Missouri.
