MARGARET "WINNIE" BOX departed this life on July 8, 2002 to join her Savior and loved ones in Heaven. She was born August 1, 1914 in St. Louis, Missouri, but spent all her adult life in Houston, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and always shared her love for Jesus with everyone she met. She preached, taught Sunday school, ministered in church and to others, and was a blessing and helping hand to many. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred E. Box; and brothers Frank Landherr and Willie Landherr. Margaret is survived by her sons Fred R. Box and wife Sandra of Austin, Texas; and Harry R. Box and wife Anita of Houston, Texas sister Virginia Mazac; 4 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be from7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11th at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday July 12, 2002 at Forest Park Lawndale Family Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
