Rafaela "Rae" G. Rodriguez, 84, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 17, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 5 p.m. Sunday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Rafaela "Rae" was born Oct. 24, 1926, in Fort Worth to Martina Amaro and Seferino Garcia. Known for her devotion not only to her loving children and grandchildren, but to her cosmetic sales at Monnig's for 42 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Johnny H. Rodriguez in 2007; son, John E. Rodriguez; and grandson, John "Shorty" Joseph Rodriguez. Survivors: Son, Joe M. Rodriguez and wife, Norma; daughters, Lydia Becerra-Martinez and husband, Rick, Victoria Salinas and husband, Richard, and Linda Rodriguez and husband, Arthur; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Connie Tijerina, Esther Watts and Georgia Garcia.
