Arthur Peters
DAVENPORT - Arthur C. Peters, 91, died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Allens Grove Cemetery, rural Donahue, Iowa.
Runge Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Peters retired in 1963 as a route supervisor after 30 years at Downings Dairy, Rock Island, formerly Iowa-Illinois Dairy.
He married Gen Loring in 1924. She died in 1929. He married Thelma Hill in 1935 in Davenport. She died in 1964.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.
His main interest was his customers on the dairy routes.
Survivors include daughters, Constance Marple, Sun City West, Ariz.; and Laurel (Mrs. Larry) Irvin and Mary (Mrs. Tom) Bisinger, both of Davenport; sons, Ronald A., Davenport; and Kenneth C., Niles, Mich.; six grandchildren; sisters, Delda Trauffer, Davenport; and Viola Porth and Mildred Grimm, both of DeWitt, Iowa; and brothers, Lloyd, DeWitt; and Oliver, Davenport.
