Mr. Segura died Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. in Doctors' hospital in Groves after an illness of two weeks.
The body will be taken early Friday to the Evangeline Funeral home at Delcambre, La., where funeral services and burial will be arranged. Burial will be in the Miguez cemetery.
A native of Delcambre, Mr. Segura, a commercial fisherman, had lived in the Port Arthur area the last 10 years. He came here from Delcambre and was a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Segura of Port Acres; two sons, Loua and E.J. Segura, both of Delcambre; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian LeBlanc and Diane Segura, both of Delcambre; three step-daughters, Juanita Rae, Claudia Gayle and Jennifer Ann Feemster, all of Port Arthur; two brothers, Armance Segura of Avery Island, and Eloi Segura of Baldwin, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Jim Fitch of Port Arthur, Mrs. Antionette DeRouen of Houston and Mrs. Elodie Blanchard of Delcambre; and 12 grandchildren.
