TURNER-Nancy Helen Coan, a resident of Montgomery, died March 16, 2011, after an extended illness. She is survived by 3 daughters, Nancy (Doug) Sellers, Billie Jane (Willie) Williams and Julie (John) Beard; grandchildren, Jill (Howard) Wells, Mac (Amy) Kirby, Josh (Stacey) Williams, Gabe (Summer) Williams, Turner (Courtney) Faulkner, Angie Rodgers, Lori Sellers, John Beard IV, Greg Beard and Zach (Blair) Beard; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Claire, and Aubrie Wells, Tanner, Barron and Lane Kirby, Miller, Emma Cate and Eli Williams, Winsley and Coan Williams, Brandon Rogers and Payton Beard and her precious dog, Prissy; nephews, Mike (Ann) Besch, Kenny (Judy) Jarmen, Michael McCall; nieces, Sue (Sim) Butler, Mary Ann (Ken) Johnson, Polly McCall.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Billy M. Turner (former City Councilman); parents, Thomas Benjamin and Lantie Coan; sister, Grace Coan and brothers; Heflin and Houston Coan.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mac Kirby, Josh Williams, Gabe Williams, Turner Faulkner and Howard Wells; great-grandson, Tanner Kirby and friends; Charles Gross and Billy Williams.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from Leak-Memory Chapel with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Leak-Memory Chapel.
