Claude Harris King, 81, of Childress, died December 20, 1994 in High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo.
Born in Childress County, TX on September 12, 1913, he had been a grocery salesman and had been employed with Kimbles in Childress.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Kent King, of the home; a son, Donnie King of Mesquite; two daughters, Pat McComb of Clarendon and Peggy Neeley of Amarillo;
Six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Evel King of Childress; Raymond King of White Deer; James King of Amarillo and A. K. King of Fritch;
Six sisters: Eunice Kindle of Childress; Jo Evelyn Tolbert of Amarillo; Genevieve Shields of Ashtola; Jerry Tims of Muleshoe; Trena Adams of Amarillo and Pauline Black of Fort Stockton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred King and a sister, Bernice Woods.
