Commonwealth Reporter, Wed. Aug. 26, 1959, p. 36:4. Lifelong Area Resident Dead At Age Of 85. Frank Walgenbach Dies In Hospital; Funeral Rites In St. Patrick's. Frank R. Walgenbach, 85, a native of the Town of Forest, died Tuesday at St. Agnes hospital. Born July 15, 1874, the son of Matthew and Frances Rehling Walgenbach, he was married to Mary Schmidt June 18, 1901 at Newburg. They lived in Lamartine before coming to Fond du Lac a number of years ago. Mrs. Walgenbach died Dec. 13, 1927. Mr. Walgenbach was a member of St. Patrick's church and of the Holy Name society. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Neff, Mt. Calvary, and Mrs. Frieda Schreiner, West Bend; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Sebastian Moersch, city. A son preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Zacherl Funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's church. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Holy Trinity cemetery, Newburg.

Walgenbach who died Tuesday were today at 9 a.m. at the Zacherl Funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's church, the Rev. George C. Eilers officiating. Pallbearers were Joseph Schubiger, Sr., John Schubiger, Donald Walgenbach, Donald Schreiner, Allen Schreiner, and Leo Vande Boom. Burial was in Holy Trinity cemetery at Newburg where the Rev. Paul Bertrand conducted the committal rites. Out-of-town persons at the services were from West Bend, Milwaukee, Lomira, Saukville and nearby towns.
