Born September 10, 1943 in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. Michael, Sr. and Emma G. McCoy Michael.
She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She was a secretary for both the government and private business.
She is survived by her husband James Tracy, whom she married October 12, 1974; one daughter, Jennifer Tracy Hazelrigs, Fayetteville; three brothers, Harold E. Michael, Jr., Gladston Michael and Billy Michael, all of Berkeley Springs; one sister, Emma Mae Michael Stotler, Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marvalene Cain and four brothers, Rodney Eugene Michael, Don Michael, J.D. Michael and Reed Michael.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m. at Highland United Methodist Church wih Pastor Brett Beverman officiating. A time of fellowship for family and friends will be held at the church immediately following the service. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
