Lisa Angela Davidson, 47, of Paragould, formerly of Batesville, died at Jonesboro Wednesday, March 16 2011.

Born January 14, 1964 in Doniphan, MO., she was the daughter of Jerry Lester Lumpkin, Sr. and Betty Marie Weaver Lumpkin.

She was a graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a bachelors and master's degree in business education. She began her teaching career as an off campus adult education instructor for Gateway Technical College in Batesville, and after receiving her master's degree, she taught business education at Gateway Technical College for 5 years. She then became a state licensed insurance agent and opened and maintained a successful insurance agency for Farmers Insurance Group in Batesville for many years. In recent years, she returned to higher education and at the time of her death, she was in the final stages of obtaining a second master's degree as a specialist in education and mental health counseling and had secured a position as a counselor at Life Strategies Incorporated mental health counseling in Paragould Arkansas.

Survivors include her three children, Andrew Mark Davidson, Angela Riley Davidson, and Andrea Jean-Marie Davidson all of Batesville, and her siblings Becky Marie Coburn of Houston, TX and Jerry Lester Lumpkin Jr. of Batesville and her father, Jerry Lester Lumpkin Sr. also of Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Marie Weaver Lumpkin.

Services will be held at Roller Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville at 2:00 pm Saturday March 19, 2011.

Pallbearers will be Lannie Frazier, Ed Lumpkin, Barry Lumpkin, Chase Brittingham, Britt Wineland, and Henry Brewster.

Honorary pallbearers are Ben Baxter, Kevin Lumpkin and Jonathon Mitchell.

Private burial services will be held immediately following at Egner Cemetery, Allen Chapel Road under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
