Rachel Ann Rider Wright, 85, died July 15, 1966 in a Salt Lake City hospital of complications after surgery.

Born July 15, 1881, Kanab to John and Mary McDonald Rider. Married John W. Wright, 1900 Salt Lake Temple. He died 1941. Member Winder 3rd Ward. Active Relief Society, Daughter of Utah Pioneers.

Survivors sons and daughters, Frank L., David M., Leo R., Victor R., Wallace W., Mrs. James W. (Mary) Wood, Mrs. Luburn (Thelma) McKendrick all Salt Lake. Fred L. Soda Springs Idaho; Charles W., Boise; Mrs. Theodore (Mildred) Marshall, Mrs. Clarence (June) Swanson, both Whittier, California. 45 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; brother sister Rowland W. Rider, Mrs. Christina Andrus, both Salt Lake.

Funeral services Monday 1 p.m. Winder 3rd Ward chapel 4350 11th East. Friends call Sunday 4760 S State St 7-9 p.m., Monday at church one hour before services.
