Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Harris, of Heflin, Selena Vickery and husband, Bobby, of Jacksonville and Shelley Newell and husband, Gary, of Piedmont; one sister, Rita Boozer and husband, Scottie, of Jacksonville, one brother, David Tolleson, of Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren, Destiny Ayers, Cody Allen Ayers, Taylor Wade Ayers, Jozie Cole Ayers, Amber Vickery Russell, Tara Vickery, Jeremy Baldwin, Jaimie Baldwin, Jared Baldwin, Corey Harris and Kyle Newell; seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ayers is preceded in death by her son, Allen Wade Ayers; brother, William Owen Tolleson, and parents, Gladys and Bunch Tolleson. Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. Ayers was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Heflin for the past year. She was a member of Post Oak Springs Baptist Church.
