Louise W. Beers was born on March 18, 1912 in Madison, Iowa to Ernest and Emma (Hodde) Rosenthal. She passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center at the age of 98 years, 11 months and 27 days.

Louise was united in marrige on October 23, 1938 to Allen Beers in Sterling, Nebraska. Together they raised three children, Lawrence, Barbara, Patricia. She worked many years as a cook at Ulbrichs and Pete's Drive-in.

She was a member in Ladies Aide, Circle 3, Jolly Helpers, Neighbor Club, Hospital Auxiliary, Luther Memorial Sunday School and Confirmation Teacher, Quilting, Poetry Compostition, Entertainy Friend, Birthday Party Group, 4-H Leader. She also enjoyed her Grand/Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse, Nebraska with Pastor Paul Coen officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday March 17, 2011 from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. at the funeral home. 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, with family greeting friends from 7 until 8:30 P.M.

Interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Syracuse, Nebraska.
