Ernest for many years was associated with his father in the Rohm Meat Market on the south end corner of Columbia Street and Broadway. He was also active in Utica Masonic circles and was a member of Ziyara Temple Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and the Patrol. For 10 years he had been a choir singer in Grace Church of which he was a member.
Son of the late Michael C. and Catherine Reusswig Rohm. He married Miss Grace Breitenstein, and a daughter Dorris.

HART GROCERY EXECUTIVE DIES Ernest P. Rohm, 53, executive of Hart Food Stores, died Sunday May 31, 1936 in his home in Perinton, after a short illness. He came to Rochester from Utica eight years ago to direct meat sales at the Hart stores when markets were added to the grocery business. Prior to coming to Rochester, he was active in Masonry in Utica being a member of Zivata Shrine, Mohawk Valley Consistory and Utica Lodge F. & A. M. He was a member of Church of Reformation. He leaves his widow Grace, a daughter Doris and four sisters, Mrs. W. J. Carpenter, Utica, Mrs. Alfred Morgan, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Norbert Falk and Mrs. Howard Sexton of Utica. Funeral services will be conducted at ? P.M. tomorrow in his home. The Rev. F. R. Knubel officiating. Honorary bearers will be Alfred Hart, H. Springer, S. Fea?nley, A. Engasser, Dr. Jules Hag?t?um, Leo Frankfurt, Robert Epping, Garry Pekarsky,George McAvon, A Levenson, Moe Rubens, John Strohmaver, Albert Lau, Fred Fullen and Harry Flodin Active bearers will be Morris Levinson, Dewey C-ttenden, Jay H. Rubens, Louis Hohman, Emmett Norton and Wallace Fearnley. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park.

Page 7, The Utica Observer Dispatch Wednesday June 8,1910 ROHM --BREITENSTEIN Ernest P. Rohm of Steuben Street and Miss Grace A. Breitenstein of Cooper Street were the principles in a very pretty wedding at the Church of the Redeemer last night. The Rev. Edwin P. Keerer, pastor of the church officiated. The auditorium was very prettily decorated with ferns and palms, daises ad buttercups and these together with the bright dresses of the guest gave the place a beautiful appearance. Preceding , during and immediately after the ceremony musical programs was rendered, Prof. D. C. Gaiteleon presided at the organ and was assisted by the Fashion Quartette of which the groom is a member. Those who sang in it's last night were, Robert O. Morris, William Sorbel, Eugene Sinarer and Edward Lloyd. While the guest were assembling the quantities sang " The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden" and at the conclusion of the ceremony rendered" Design This Union to Approve". The bride who was gowned in a charming creation of white ??malaise over taffeta with her long tulle veil caught with orange loose, was given away by her brother, Arthur J. Rottenstone of Buffalo. The maid of honor was Miss Pearl E. Breitenstein, a sister of the bride and the bridesmaids were the misses Lillian and Elizabeth Rohm, sisters of the groom, Miss Mattie Groesinger and Miss Florence Beaman?, all of this city. They were dressed in white and carried bouquets of daises and maiden hair fern? ? while the bride carried a shower bouquet of white roses. The best man was Carl Rohm a bother of the groom and the ushers were James Head and Nate Nelson cousins of the groom and William and George Wolfe, all of this city. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride, where the guest were present. Treating the guest a ? was served by Caterer Hansan. Mr. and Mrs. Rohm were the recipients of many costly and beautiful presents. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Mary Breitenstein and the late Frederick Breitenstein. Mr. Rohm is well known in town from his promlo??? in musical circles. He is a member of the Fulton Quartet and of the Grace Church. Among the large number of guest were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Breitenstein of Buffalo, Dr. Rose E. Rottenstone of Rochester Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Garfick and Miss Alberta Terry of Syracuse, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Opper and Miss Mars Opper of Rome, Mrs. William Palmer of Oneida, Mrs. William, Mrs. G.F.Erie, Mrs. H. F. Beardales and Mrs. Samuel Heiderman of Rochester. The young couple will make their home in this city.
