Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Mae Minor were conducted Saturday morning, September 1, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Spurlington, Rev. Phillip Hutchins, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Minor was born in Taylor County on March 16, 1884, the daughter of the late James and Belle Curry Edelen, and died Thursday morning, August 30, 1962, at Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She had been in ill health for the past several years. She united in marriage 58 years ago to Louis Minor, who survives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, George Minor of Louisville; one daughter, Miss Mae Belle Minor, also of Louisville; five brothers, Ed Edelen, Gus Edelen, Ralph Edelen, David O. Edelen, and Elmer Edelen, all of Taylor County. Pallbearers were Charles McDermott, Jr., Jimmie Edelen, Stanley Wooley, Mitchell Edelen, Tom Edelen, and J.W.
