Note:
William Dade died at the home of Mrs. Frank Pyles, near Dawsonville, Wednesday morning, in his seventy-sixth year. His death was followed by the death of his brother, John Henry Dade, later that evening.

William Franklin Dade was a Private in the 1st Regiment, Maryland Cavalry, Company D, during the Civil War. (Confederate States of America - CSA)

Representative to the Maryland Legislature in the 1850s.

Secretary of the Democratic meeting in Poolesville in 1859.
