Reba was a member of the Retired Teachers of Scott County, Nickelsville Senior Citizens and attended First Baptist Church of Nickelsville for over 60 years. Recently, she attended Community Fellowship Baptist Church of Gate City. She loved both her families and enjoyed Sunday School so much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard K. Elliott; son, Kenneth Mack Elliott, parents, Frank and Grace McElroy; two brothers, Burl and G. F. McElroy; one sister, Virginia Johnston.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her son, Pat Elliott and Rachel, his wife; two grandchildren, Autumn and Nic Elliott (who were the apple in her eye); one sister, Rosa Lee Hamm of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; three very special friends, JoAnn Sluss, Betty Jo Fletcher and Sue Smith, and a host of many other friends.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Nickelsville with Rev. Steve Collins officiating. Music was provided by Tommy and Cindy Green. Interment followed in the Nickelsville Cemetery.
