He was born Oct. 21, 1876 in Allen County. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are a son, Richard E. Jones of 147 S. Collett; two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Turner of East Liverpool and Miss Mary T. Jones of Rock Creek; one sister, Mrs. Ellas Evans of Rt. 4, Lima and two grandchildren.
He was a member of the Gomer Congregational Church.
Private funeral services in Lewis Memorial chapel Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Willard Thomas officiating.
Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
