Ms. Yvonne Marlene Alexander, 60, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at her residence.
She was born July 10, 1949 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Delmar David Alexander and Verdia Wiles Ware of Nebo, KY. She is also preceded in death by one son, Jay Murry Brown.
Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Nebo.
She is survived by her mother; one daughter, Darlene Brinkley of Providence, KY; one son, Thomas (Brandy) McElvain of Dawson Springs, KY; two brothers, Delmar Alexander of Bowling Green, KY and Dennis Brown of Deland, FL; seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Cummings and Bro. Daniel Orton officiating with burial to follow in Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, KY.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and 11:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
