Charles W. Elgin died at his home, Poolesville, Montgomery County, Sunday after a long illness, aged 67 years and 28 days. Mr. Elgin had been in the mercantile business in Poolesville for about thirty-five years. He was the son of the late Charles F. and Helen Elgin. He is survived by his wife, Fannie Jones Elgin.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon, at this home, Poolesville, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. Hilton and Price, funeral directors.
