MRS. BERTHA M. CONNER
Mrs. Conner died March 13, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. She was born December 17, 1920 in Overton County to the late Basley Austin and Mattie Gertrude Taylor Smith. She was a housewife.

She was affiliated with the Barnes Ridge Church of Christ.

She is survived by 4 sons, Nello (& Lula) Conner, Lonnie Conner, Junior (& Sarah) Conner, and Kenny (& Peggy) Conner, all of Monroe; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, & 12 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Carter of Monroe and Virginia Blanch Ford, Bernice Sue Bryson, & Mary Joyce Roop all of Livingston; and a brother, Bobby Gene Smith of Livingston.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Elmo L. Conner, and brothers: George G. Smith and Danny Detro Smith.

Pallbearers to serve are Dustin, David, Dwayne, Tony, Carley, & Chris Conner. Honorary pallbearers will be all the other grandchildren.
