Cecelia "Ann" Harrington, age 90, died peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family, on March 28, 2005. Ann was born on Fox Island on July 28, 1914. A graduate of Lincoln High School, Tacoma, WA, she was preceded in death by Watt, her husband of 58 years and eight Osinski siblings. She is survived by her five children: Jim and Pat Harrington, Fox Island; Jan and Stuart Dittbrenner and Jay and Dee Harrington, Bloomington, Minn.; Jill and Dave Bailey, Lacey, Wash.; and Joan and Don Gordon, Milan, Italy. Also survived by seven grandchildren: Sue and Steve Ebreo, Shannon and Paul Dauber, Heidi Harrington, Aron and Michele Dittbrenner, Ian and Shannon Dittbrenner, Todd and Hege Miller, Juliana Gordon, and nine great-grandchildren, as well as many loving friends and relatives.

She and Watt were members of the "Mr. and Mrs. Dance Club" of Tacoma. A member of the "One Thing Club," for over 50 years, she considered these ladies as her closest friends. A resident of Fox Island for the past 25 years, she enjoyed many social gatherings with the local community club, the "Stitch 'n Bitch" ladies group, and was Grand Marshal for FICRA's Fair and parade. Ann was known for her legendary cookies and homemade raspberry jam, bingo prowess and joy of family gatherings.

A memorial service to celebrate her life was held March 31, 2005 at the Fox Island Chapel on Echo Bay, reception immediately followed.

"Ann" died 15 days after her last remaining sister "Agnes" passed making her the last of the nine "Osinski children" to join the Lord with her parents Casimir and Julianna.

Truly the end of an era...
