Mrs. Ida M. Susan, 78, widow of Walter F. Susan, a resident of Traverse City, Mich., and a former Oakfield resident died Wednesday at Louisville, Ky., while visiting a son.
She was born March 15, 1892, in Marinette, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sackett. She was married to Walter Susan in July 1913.
The couple resided in Oakfield where Mrs. Susan was a former school teacher. After the couple retired, they moved to Florida, until the death of her husband in 1955, when she made her home at Traverse city, Mich.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Meredith Fall of Traverse City, Mich; two sons, Frank Susan of Louisville, Ky., and Stanley Susan of Traverse City, Mich; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Rex Wegner and Miss Hattie Sackett, both of Milwaukee and Mrs. Kenneth Capps of Grand Haven, Mich.; and one brother, John Sackett in California.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oakfield Methodist Church with the Rev. O. B. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
Friends may call from * to * p.m. Friday at Kohls Co. funeral Home, Oakfield, and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of services.

The Rev. O. B. Smith officiated. Vocal selections were sung by Mrs. Thomas Henke, and the organist was Mrs. Douglas McLean. Burial was in Avoca Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Walther Launders, Claude Cregoe, Alvin Bristol, Re* Wegner, Harold Sackett and N. R McCh*n.
