Marthann Hanson passed away on December 4, 2001 at the age of 94 in a Houston nursing facility.
Mrs. Hanson was born in Cameron, Texas, but was a long time resident of Houston since 1938. She and her late husband Olene Hanson, owned and operated several contracting companies, building roads, highways and bridges throughout Texas. In later years they established and developed North Hill Estates in Spring, Texas. She was one of the original founding member at Grace Presbyterian Church in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olene Hanson, her parents, A.W. Bickett and Marthann McDermott Bickett of Cameron, Texas and 5 brothers and sisters. She is survived by a sister, Winifred L. Allen of Cameron, Texas.
