GREENWOOD - Vivian Cannon Maye, 84, of 216 Irvin's Circle, wife of Peter(Pete)R. Maye,Jr., died Thursday,July 29, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Martin Luther and Roxie Ann Lister Ferguson. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
She was twice married, first to the late Charles W Cannon and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kimberly Moon Winchester.
Surviving is her husband of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce & Lonnie McManus and Dot & Richard Moon; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald & Norma Cannon, all of Greenwood; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Peter R. Maye III and Doris Maye of Saint Marys, GA; a sister, Ruth F. Lovelace of Greer; a brother, L. Troy Ferguson of Greenwood; eight grandchildren, Pat Cullens, Sheri Winchester, Cheryl Reynolds, Dana Mount, L. Glen McManus, W. Charles (Chuck) McManus, Jeff Cannon, Richard Moon Jr., Christopher Maye and John Reynolds; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steven Crittendon officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary escort will be the friends at Irvin's Circle.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family members are at their respective homes.
