Willie Mae Batts-Hooper was born the last of nine children on April 6, 1933, in Roby, Texas to the late Ralph Hudson and Elizabeth Womack.

She accepted Christ at an early age and served as Senior Usher as well as the Supervisor and Instructor for the Junior Usher's Ministry for 48 years at St. Matthew Baptist Church.

She attended school in the Ector County Independent School District.

She later united in holy matrimony to Tommy Lee Green. To this union, 3 children were born.

Willie is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hooper, son Ronnie Lee Green, and 8 siblings.

Willie Mae was a faithful member of St. Matthew Baptist Church before her illness.

She retired from cooking to continue to cook at home.
