Charles Solomon Rominger was the second of five known children of Ambrose Cornelius Rominger (1850-1932) and Lydia Catherine Crouse Rominger (1835-1925), who married c1868 at presumably Forsyth or Davidson County, North Carolina, though a marriage record can't be located.
Charles married first to Mary Alice Fishel (1877-1948) on 23 Dec 1896 at Davidson County, North Carolina. Charles and Mary were the parents of four known children, namely:
1. William Jesse Rominger (1897-1938)
2. Mable Pauline Rominger (1904-1905)
3. Ruth A. Rominger Styers (1907-1993)
4. Hazel Irene Rominger Brinkley (1913-1958)
After Mary died, Charles remarried to the widow Elmeta V. Colbert Cline (1893-1961) on 14 aug 1948 at Forsyth County, North Carolina. Charles and Elmeta had no children together.
