Perry Smith (AUB '64), and nephew, Dr. Perry F. Smith (MIS '91), are veterinarians in Miami and East Palatka, Fla., respectively. Moving here 64 years ago from Conway, S.C., Dr. Smith practiced as a veterinarian for 34 years in Ocala operating the Animal Medical Clinic. He is survived by his daughter Kimberlee Smith Corbitt of Crystal Beach, FL; brother Frank Smith of Summerfield and brother Perry Smith, D.V.M. of Miami. He was preceded in death by a brother, Juddy Smith, in May 2001. There will be an Open House Celebration of Life for Dr. Smith on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 from 4 PM - 8 PM at The County Club at Silver Springs Shores, 565 Silver Road in Ocala. There will be a brief memorial program at 6:00 PM.
