James Pidcock was the son of John W. Pidcock and Catherine Ashby. He married Myrtle Margaret Campbell and they had 2 daughters, Gladys born 1904 and Bernice born 1907. This marriage ended in divorce. He later married Pearl Mae Hutchinson in 1919. They were the parents of Dejah Madene Pidcock, born 22 May 1920.
