Rosemary A. [ Kay ] Stefik, 79, of Lewiston, NY, died Monday, November 18, 2002, in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness.
She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on March 4, 1923, the daughter of Wendell H. and Irene [ Brennen ] Kay, where she attended local schools. She was a graduate of the Niagara Falls High School, in the Class of 1941.
Mrs. Stefik, had worked for several years at the Francis Optical in Niagara Falls, NY. She was a member of St. Peter's Church, in Lewiston, NY, for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and golfing, bowling and playing bridge.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Robert M. Stefik; three sons, Robert M. Stefik, II; William A. Stefik, both of Lewiston, NY; David W. [ Kathleen ] Stefik, of Youngstown, NY; two daughters, Kathleen Stefik, of Miami, FL; Mary Anne [ Ronald ] Henderson, of Sarasota, FL; four brothers, Robert L. [ Mildred ] Kay, of West Hartford, CT; Richard F. Kay, of Englewood, FL; Wendell B. Kay, of Lewiston, NY; Donald E. [ Joyce ] Kay, of Guilford, CT; and several nieces and cousins. She was the sister of the late, Irene Quinn; Thomas H. Kay; William H. Kay; Durward W. Kay.
