Dorothy Howard Mahaney, 88, of Scottsville, Ky died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. The Scottsville, Ky native was a homemaker, a former employee of Union Underwear for 44 years, attended Halfway School and Mt. Union General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Clint C. Howard and Lillie A. Sherrell Howard and wife of the late Hillous Clay Mahaney.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Louie Howard, Lawrence Howard, Garland Howard and Harold Wade Howard; 5 sisters: Lottie Gilbert, Daisy Hunt, Edith Smith, Allie Goodrum and Elsie Mae Howard.
Funeral services for Dorothy Howard Mahaney will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gus Gregory officiating and burial in Mt. Union General Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
