Madrid — Mrs. Elisabeth Bell Puffer, 90, died Friday (May 18, 1956) at the Dunlop Sanitorium, where she had been a patient for seven years.
Mrs. Puffer was born on May 12, 1866, the daughter of William L. and Ann (Miller) Plant and on June 26,1895, married George L. Puffer Ogdensburg. The couple lived On Mr. Puffer's farm home until 30 years ago, when they retired and moved to Rensselaer Falls. Mr. Puffer died in 1941.
She is survived by three nephews, W. D. McKenzie of Madrid, William L. Flint of New York City and Earl McKenzie of Santiago, Calif.
The Mann-Goolden Funeral Service is in charge of funeral arrangements and services will be conducted at the Mann Funeral Home on Monday, May 21 at 2 pm. The Rev. Vernon C. Nichols of the Black River Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Heuvelton.
