EPPERSON, Edith, 81, of Goodview, passed away Monday, February 2, 1998, in a local hospital. She was the widow of Gaffney L. Epperson. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Lebanon. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda E. and Phillip Burdette of Chamblissburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley L. and Linda Epperson of Oxnard, Calif., Dennis J. Epperson and Sharon Oliver of New Castle; four granddaughters, Cindy Dominique of Simi Valley, Calif., Leslie Kotheimer of Catawba, Jennifer Recchia of Newport News, Heather Burdette of Chamblissburg; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Stanley of Williamsburg, Ky. and Edsel Stanley of Middlesboro, Ky. also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 1998. Interment will be in the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
