Died: Puffer - At his residence in the town of Oswegatchie, near Rensselaer Falls, April 15th, Lafayette W. Puffer, aged 77 years. Mr. Puffer was born in this county and always resided here. He was a most worthy citizen, intelligent, industrious, a good neighbor and a faithful friend. He followed the occupation of a farmer and dignified the calling. Of a singularly happy and kindly disposition, he made many friends and had no enemies. "The memory of the just is blessed".
