Son of Henry W. and Elizabeth Ada (MAY) Crail. "Long time Watonga businessman Claude C. Crail died at the Watonga Hospital of cancer June 3. He was 73 years old. Funeral services were held June 6 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Gibson officiating. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery with Keller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Earnest Hoberecht. Pallbears were Richard Cox, Bill Gammon, John Schreiner, Leonard Shipman, Miller Bouher and Robert Stanford. Claude Crail was born November 1, 1899 at Porum, Okla, the son of Elizabeth and Henry Crail. He had lived in the Blaine Co., area for over 60 years and was owner and operator of Crail Automotive at the time of his death. He was married to Mae Arnold June 23, 1924 in Watonga and she preceeded him in death. Crail who received his education in the Hitchcock school was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milton (Donna) Boehm; three grandchildren, Claudia, Mike and Bradley; two sisters, one brother and several nieces and nephews.
