OBITUARY
Mary Magdalene Derrick, 75, of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at her home from a long illness.

Mary was the daughter of Joseph Hudnall & Lucy Reed.

She was born Sept. 20, 1927, at Crown Hill. A lifelong resident of Sissonville, a homemaker and a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Sissonville.

Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Derrick; three sons, James Derrick of Reedy, Kenneth Derrick of Mammoth, and Donald Derrick of Tad; two daughters, Virginia Gibson and Sandra Agosti, both from Sissonville; grandchildren, Melissa Moss of Sissonville, Marylou Toole of Kenna, Mollie Tincher of Mammoth, Nichole Derrick of Charleston and Charlie Derrick of Charleston; and
six great-grandchildren.
