Funeral services will be held this morning (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. in the Bandon Chapel of Schroeder Brothers Mortuary for Lester C. Cox, who died March 29 in the County Nursing Home at Coquille.
Born January 8, 1903, in Bandon he had made his home in the community all his life.
The Rev. Glen Davis, First Baptist Church, will officiate with burial to follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen of Bandon; two sons, Howard Chambers of Lakeport, California, and Burton Chambers of El Segundo, California; one sister, Mrs. Gussie Griffith of Eugene, and three brothers, Walter of Eugene, and John and George of Bandon.
