Mary Isabel Babcock of Eugene, a former resident of Bandon, died March 17 in that city at the age of 70.
Born July 18, 1921, in Yakima, Washington, Mrs. Babcock lived many years in Yakima and Bandon.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God and was active in volunteer work in Bandon, including driving the Senior Services van.
She was married to Samuel R. Babcock who died November 1, 1981.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Amling-Schroeder Bandon Chapel with the Rev. Walter Demorest of the Pentecostal Church of God, Coquille, officiating. Internment was at the IOOF Cemetery in Bandon.
