Frank S. Clark was born to Bennett & Imoinda Clark in Vinton Co.Ohio. He came with his parents to Sumner County, KS. in 1871 and settled on a homestead near Belle Plaine, where he lived until March 1879. He married Miss Melvina Tabor and they moved to Fort Scott, KS. where they had two sons, Jasper Scott & Tony Prentis Clark. He was a carpenter with the Frisco System RR and was employed with them until his age and health mandated his retirement. Frank was a longtime member of The Church Of God Of Fort Scott where funeral was held June 23, 1937 for a highly respected citizen, neighbor and friend.
