(Clarion Democrat 3/14/1895) J. J. Cyphert, one of our oldest residents, died Saturday evening last, and his remains were interred in the St. Nicholas cemetery Tuesday. Deceased leaves a family of grown children, among whom is A. R. Cyphert, of this place, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
