Services for Lois M. Bucaro (nee Petersen), 83, will begin with prayers at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett, and proceed to St. Peter Damian Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Bartlett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home.
Born Apr. 3, 1923, in Bartlett, she died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, in Elgin.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Sr.; loving mother of Frank Jr. (MaryAnn) Bucaro of Bartlett, Drew (Maureen) Bucaro of Conestoga, Pa., and Lynn (the late Mic) Hutton of Cape Coral, Fla.; dear sister-in-law of Jean (the late James) Petersen; cherished grandmother of 17; and proud great-grandmother of three.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Provena St. Joseph Hospital Regional Cancer Center, 77 N. Airlite, Elgin, IL 60123 would be appreciated.
