BLUFFTON CONTRACTOR IS TAKEN BY DEATH
ELMER C. BAUMGARTNER, 66, DIED SUNDAY; RITES WEDNESDAY
Bluffton, Jan. 21.—Elmer C. Baumgartner, 66, local contractor, died at 7:05 p.m. Sunday in the Wells County Hospital after an illness of five months with a heart ailment. Mr. Baumgartner operated the E. C. Baumgartner Contracting Company. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the First Evangelical and Reformed Church here and a lifelong resident of Wells County.
Surviving are the widow, Faye; a son, Clifton L. Baumgartner, Bluffton; two sisters, a foster brother and two granddaughters. The body is at the Jahn, Goodwin & Reed Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
